“Explore! We are all adventurers! British Columbia, I have been awestruck more times than I can say with its beauty, yet I’ve barely scratched its surface. It is hard not to fall in love with the rainforests, mountains and canyons. Each season brings new discoveries. I more than urge everyone to go out and expose yourself to BC’s breathtaking scenery. There are so many excellent photographers documenting their British Columbia adventures through #explorebc on Instagram. Plan something, somewhere, immediately after reading this blog! Explore safely, tread lightly, and share your stories. Life is very short, fill your heart with all the wonder BC offers.”
Long exposure photograph of the Green river at the base of Nairn Falls. Located 20 mins north of Whistler. A home for whitewater kayakers and hikers, I visit here often and travel the rivers edge and many trails.
Cliff jumping at Silver Springs in the town of Elko, BC, a 30 km drive from the beautiful Fernie Ski Resort. Lots of good cliffs of various heights and jump difficulties, but the water is a little chilly!
Rappelling in Cypress Canyon. There are so many incredible areas to explore just outside the Vancouver area that will make you think you are in a different world. If you are looking for these types of adventures, please do your research for best time of year to access the locations, what safety precautions are needed and ALWAYS go with a buddy or group!
I’m a Photographer and adventurer. I do commercial, editorial, licensing, and commissioned work for clients and agencies across North America. I love exploring new places, meeting great new people and capturing it all to share. I have tens of thousands photos backlogged so stay tuned and follow me as I post them! I’m looking to collaborate with with extreme sport athletes and agency represented models, if you are one or all of the above give me a shout. Take care!
