That’s not to say we won’t get a surprise snow storm. Just ask this horse! He thought summer was just around the corner when an overnight squall left the ranchland white!
Later in May, the snow has left and lambing season begins.
Then it’s preparing the soil, awaiting that given day when the decision is made to plant the vegetables.
The hope in this region is that there won’t be a late frost. That’s the gamble that we in the Cariboo Chilcotin region make every year. Sometimes we guess right; other times we are not so lucky!
