What do you get when you send two pro snowboarders, a videographer and a photographer to BC’S Powder Highway, just as a storm rolls through and blankets the area with several feet of fresh pow? One pretty amazing winter road trip (and a ton of great photos)!
Snowboarders Leanne Pelosi and Jeff Keenan, videographer Aaron Maksymec and photographer Jeff Bartlett set out as the ultimate team for a powder-hunting road trip in southeastern BC. Their itinerary? Two days at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort near Golden, two days at Whitewater Ski Resort near Nelson and two days at Red Resort near Rossland (including a day of catskiing with Big Red Cats). The ski conditions? Well, we’ll just let the photos speak for themselves:
