    We welcome your comments and ideas about diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) pertaining to Destination BC. DEIA is a shared responsibility within our organization and all employees contribute to advancing our inclusion efforts.

    What Helpful Feedback Looks Like

    Please provide feedback on the barriers you, or people you know experience when interacting with our organization, or feedback that will help to inform our future DEIA plans. We invite you to be as descriptive as possible when sharing your insights.

    Your feedback will only be shared with Destination BC employees directly involved in furthering our DEIA efforts. Your feedback will also be considered as part of our ongoing efforts to improve DEIA at Destination BC. Feedback regarding our strategic efforts related to DEIA will be tracked, and when applicable, shared with our Accessibility and Inclusion Committee and/or internal DEIA Steering Committee.

Consumer Complaints

Destination BC is the provincial destination marketing organization for British Columbia, supporting the promotion and development of BC tourism activities and experiences. We do not offer recourse to consumers with respect to complaints about service delivery by BC tourism businesses or operators. If you wish to file a complaint against a tourism business, there are several options available to you.

We recommend that you contact the business directly to discuss your concerns. If you are not able to resolve the dispute with the business directly, you may try contacting Consumer Protection BC. Though they do not investigate quality of service issues, they may be able to assist in instances where services were not received. Lastly, you can share your experience with other consumers via a review of the business on the popular peer-to-peer review site, TripAdvisor.
