Destination BC will soon kick off a new chapter of its domestic marketing efforts with the launch of a new fall domestic campaign. From September 13-November 12, British Columbia and Alberta residents will be encouraged to be Open to More this fall – to consider new places, indulge in local fall flavours, and look beyond the usual ways they experience the places they know, while exploring BC this season.
By visiting ExploreBC.com, residents will be introduced to unique BC fall activities through new stories, featured under a carefully-curated collection of BC’s ten quintessential experiences tailored to the fall season:
The campaign will be launched across major television broadcast stations in Calgary, Edmonton and throughout BC, through connected TV and across digital platforms (Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest), and will leverage a variety of tactics including email, social, paid search, and earned media throughout its lifespan.
Destination BC will continue to adhere to any travel orders and advisories put in place by the Province of BC to support wildfire and COVID-19 response efforts. Campaign content will be reviewed and adjusted as needed based on the latest circumstances on the ground.
