Once a year, all six tourism regions in British Columbia hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) or Summit as an opportunity to celebrate the past year, and share knowledge and opportunities with regional partners.

These events are an opportunity for tourism stakeholders to hear federal, provincial and regional developments in the industry, network with tourism partners and other interested parties, and share viewpoints and insights from different sectors.

Find details on each region’s event below.

Kootenay Rockies Tourism 42nd AGM will take place at the St. Eugene Golf Resort Casino, near Cranbrook, on September 25, 2019.  A second industry Pro-D event will take place from November 5-7, 2019. Visit the website for more information and to register.

Northern BC Tourism Summit and AGM 2019 will take place at the Prince George Conference and Civic Center in Prince George, from October 3-4, 2019. Focused on the theme of Partners in Tourism, the Summit will explore the immense potential for fruitful partnerships and collaboration across our multi-faceted industry. Visit the website for more information and to register.

Tourism Vancouver Island will be welcoming attendees to the 56th Annual Tourism Vancouver Island Conference & AGM at the Coast Bastion Hotel in Nanaimo from October 8-10, 2019. Vancouver Coast and Mountains 2019 Summit will take at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster on October 23, 2019. This is VCMs large industry forum for businesses, communities and other VCM partners. For more information on the Summit please email Fiona Frost at [email protected].
